Getting started

Standalone workspace quick start

A fast way to get a freelancer or solo workspace live without waiting on connected billing.

What standalone mode is for

Standalone mode is the fastest way to start using Customerscor when you are not ready to connect live billing yet. It is built for freelancers, consultants, and small operators who still need a clean CRM, invoice flow, notes, reports, and follow-up system.

You can always move into connected billing later. The important thing is getting your client operations into one place early instead of waiting for a perfect setup.

How to set it up

Choose standalone mode during onboarding or in workspace settings. Add your business name first so your reports, email copy, and workspace labels feel consistent everywhere.

Import a client CSV if you already have records, or start by adding your first few clients manually. Include names, emails, plans, MRR, notes, and balances if you already track them.

What to configure next

Open custom fields next if you need more than the default CRM columns. This is where you can add project type, lead source, contract stage, niche tags, or delivery notes.

After that, review automations and email templates so your follow-ups and reminders already reflect how you actually work.

Need the next step?

Keep moving through the help center or jump back into the product and apply the workflow directly.
